TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook. The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.PlatformsAvailable: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.InfrastructureThe speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.RegulationNow, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.Welcome OfferTab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit. The complete breakdown, including all the details before you open an account, is website at tradetheday.com.
